Our October pack hike is scheduled for Sunday, October 29th at 2pm at Lake Frank in Rock Creek Regional Park. The route will follow a roughly 3-mile loop around the lake. The route is available here.

Lake Frank: Lakeside and Muncaster Mill Trail Loop/Rock Creek Regional Park
Parking: 5100 Meadowside Ln, Rockville, MD 20855
Park in the lot for the Meadowside Nature Center. The Nature Center is closed, and it is likely there are no restroom facilities available there.
Dogs are allowed on the trail.
If your scout is unable to join us on the Pack hike and would like to earn the hiking miles, please have them complete the same hike on your own schedule and let us know within 30 days.

Leave no trace
Stay on the path
Do not run, be careful with leaves on the ground
Wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for any weather
Bring water and a snack
